In August 7th 2019 afternoon, report meeting for Dunhuang UNESCO Global Geopark for revalidation on geopark progress was held at Hexi Corridor Grand Hotel. The meeting is hosted by Ms. Yuan Xiaohong, Chief of the Geopark Division of National Forestry and Grassland Administration. Mr. Chen Guocai, Vice secretary of Dunhuang City delivered a welcome speech, Dr. Cai Yinlu, give a presentation on progress work have been done for Dunhuang UNESCO Global Geopark during the past 4 year. Finally, Dr. Frey and Mr. Amrikazemi, the UNESCO evaluators made a short speech and then checked the archives documents of Dunhuang UGGp. Global Geopark Network Office， Gansu Forestry and Grassland Department， Jiuquan Natural Resources Bureau，leaders of Dunhuang Municipal Committee and Municipal Government and Administration for Dunhuang UNESCO Global Geopark are also attended the report meeting.
Afterward the report meeting, UNESCO evaluators make on-site inspection to Geopark popularization science school- Nanjie Primary School.
